Summary

With a ragtag team of survivors, it’s up to the player to keep their base of operations safe from zombie attack, equipment breakdown, and starvation.

Contributions

  • Acted as personal tester for multiple Strike Teams, providing feedback for systems, UI, and gameplay.
  • Met biweekly with developers to perform a large environmental test pass.
  • Provided design feedback directly to team, most notable being the enhancement of the Feral zombie’s durability.
  • Smoke tested the intro mission and basic gameplay daily, discovering and logging numerous bugs.

Process

My first foray into AAA game development. Being a QA tester rather than designer, I still tried to snag design experience whenever I could. Designers on the team gave me many pointers, and I laid groundwork for what would become Feedback Friday on Ghost of Tsushima
